the acacia strain is NOT metalcore. Vincent will fucking murder your face if he gets the chance. Deathcore or Death Metal/Hardcore. NOT FUCKING METALCORE!! they don't sing.
The line between metalcore and deathcore is not dictated by how much "singing" is contained therein. It is defined by the music. Metalcore becomes deathcore depending on how much death metal the band decides to write with their breakdowns. There is virtually no death metal to be found with The Acacia Strain, except for maybe a few chugging, slow blastbeats here and there. Who cares what website labels what band as what genre? Just enjoy the music you are getting at no cost.
u mad?
not mad, but i bet you the acacia strain would be. I have heard Vincent go off on reporters who refer to them as "metalcore". amd have you listened to them. they have an album called "the dead walk". hmmm "dead" in the album title. half their saongs talka bout how Vincent is about to snap and murder someone because of all the BS he sees. please, you really dont know what youre talking about. There IS NOTHING ABOUT THE ACACIA STRAIN THAT IS METALCORE!
and actually it is defined by singing. at least that is what all these blog sites do. they lables anything that has breakdowns AND singing as metalcore. i am regular in this community and know what im talking about. how bout you? and i am not mad, just trying to inform.
No, you're just being a faggot. A Strain is easily one of my favorite bands, but if you listen to the album, it's not like The Dead Walk or Continent. Maybe you should give the album a listen before you say it isn't metalcore.
guarantee ive been a strain fan longer than you. i had this album the same year it came out. still isnt metalcore according to VINCENT BENNETT. I will go with him. any arguement with that? you are the "faggot". Im telling you that the band's lead singer despises being refered to as "metalcore", no matter what album or line-up they were sporting. they have had 2 chicks in the line-up during the bands existence, bet you didnt know that. suck my balls. you people dont know what youre talking about! educate yourselves and get back to me. you're probably the same dumbasses that think "the Red Shore" is better without Damo. and as for my music library...i have like 50 gigs of "metal" in all its forms and another 30+ of music other than metal. i also listen to music for a minimum of 6 hours a day. so if you think you have a better grasp of this shit, what's your resume look like?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Acacia_Strain even wiki says your gay
I really think you just have no life. I don't care if you're best friends with Vincent, and I don't care that you can illegally download a shitton of music and spend your whole day listening to it. That means nothing to me. Also, anything you mentioned beside the fact that Vince doesn't want people labeling them as metalcore, has nothing to do with the fact that this album has more metalcore sound and influence than the other albums. By the way, it's "you're", as in, "You are".
yeah,'enslaved' by cock, just like i thought. the only reason i said anything in the first place is because of Vince. i dont really care otherwise. and who said my music is free? i use these sites to get music early, or music that i might have missed the chance while hardcopies were still in existence. if all YOU ARE doing is getting free music then you are a leaching fuck and Vince would murder your face for several reasons. go back to trying to suck your own tiny member.
this album is on several sites, and NOT labeled metalcore on any others that i can find. the wiki spot for the acacia strain even goes into the reasoning for why they are NOT METALCORE
this is the stupidest argument that i have ever wasted my time reading
peace fools
